Job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our high-quality mental health services in Kent and Medway. We want to ensure that our services are designed for, and delivered to, the people who need them.

This is a new role within our Talking Therapies team which will lead our service user engagement and co-production strategy to put service users at the heart of the design of our services. The role will initially focus on these areas:

  • Increasing the number of people who access our service by leading our outreach work focused on people who experience health inequalities.
  • Embedding a coproduction approach across Talking Therapies services in Kent and Medway.
  • Recruitment of people with lived experience to build our volunteer and peer support networks.
  • Develop an approach to sharing lived experience with an aim of improving client experience and successfully completing treatment.

We are looking for:

A candidate that has a good understanding of managing a diverse team; developing and implementing service user involvement and coproduction strategies; has excellent relationship-building skills and is experienced in building a volunteer workforce.

You will be an advocate of the voice of our service users, and able to bring constructive challenge to the mental health leadership teams, to ensure that service user needs are front and centre of what we do.
