Around since 1923, SAMH is Scotland’s national mental health charity. We have represented the voice of people most affected by mental health problems in Scotland for almost 100 years. Today, in over 60 communities we work with adults and young people providing mental health social care support, services in primary care, schools and further education, among others.

These services together with our national programme work in See Me, respectme, suicide prevention and active living; inform our policy and campaign work to influence positive social change. SAMH is dedicated to mental health and wellbeing for all: with a vision of a society where people are able to live their lives fully, regardless of present or past circumstances.

Salary: £29,350 - £31,347 - Pay Point 27 – Pay Point 29 * *

About the Role

As our Community & Events Fundraiser, you'll play a pivotal role in maximising income, exceed income targets, and develop excellent local relationships. Your focus will be on cultivating opportunities for giving and solidifying SAMH's position as the charity of choice within the community.

What we are looking for

Are you a dynamic and creative Community & Events Fundraiser eager to become part of a driven, accomplished, and thriving fundraising team?

We're seeking a candidate who embodies confidence, is driven by targets, and possesses ambition alongside essential skills and a genuine passion to help us grow our support in the North of Scotland. Join us in our mission to inspire individuals across Scotland who are passionate about mental health to rally behind our initiatives.

The successful candidate will have an experience in a similar role with transferable skills. Within this role you will have the ability and willingness to travel across Scotland and my occasionally require overnight stays away from home. There is also some evening and weekend work required so flexibility is important.
