Hours: Full time & Permanent 37 hours/52 weeks – flexible hours to meet service delivery need

An exciting opportunity has arisen at Cardiff West Community High School. We are looking for a creative, motivated and inspirational individual to join our successful team as Community and Facility Manager. In this position, you will be required to ensure that the school plays a prominent role in community life and demonstrates a pivotal role in future community planning.
Cardiff West Community High School currently has 1150 pupils on roll and serves the Caerau and Ely communities in the west of Cardiff.
The school currently has a number of facilities available for hire, including a 4G football/ rugby pitch, Dance studios, Sports hall, Theatre, Multi Use Games Area and specialist classrooms. The successful candidate will oversee the bookings of the school facilities outside of school hours and be proactive in generating revenue.

As a school, we are keen to promote local clubs and community groups. The role will require excellent communication skills and an understanding on how to meet the needs of the local area that the school serves. This is imperative as the successful candidate will represent the school at a number of local organisations.
