Job description

Are you someone who is energetic, pro-active with the ability to engage people and a passion for making a difference for children and young people ? If you are as passionate as we are, we would love to hear from you.

The Children’s Bereavement Centre is a highly respected local charity that has been providing specialist support to children, young people and their families from across Nottinghamshire and parts of Lincolnshire since 2003.

This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and creative individual to join our energetic, and motivated fundraising team. The successful candidate will play an instrumental role in our established fundraising events and community engagement, as well as identifying opportunities to raise profile in new geographical areas to maximise fundraising activity and income.

The role will involve responsibility for recruiting and supporting individuals and groups organising their own fundraising events or activities as well as engaging, motivating and inspiring existing community supporters to generate income to meet financial targets and deliver growth.  You will aim to increase the contributions of individuals and groups by building relationships and exploring new fundraising opportunities from various sources. You will also play a part in raising regional profile to grow core income and supporter/donor involvement.

As an ambitious charity with high demand for support we need to increase our income generation and fundraising activities to meet the high demand for our services.

The charity follows a hybrid work structure where employees can work remotely or from the office, as needed, based on the demands of specific tasks

Appointments are subject to receiving an enhanced disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service which we consider acceptable and two satisfactory references.  We offer a great working environment, ongoing training and support, and pension scheme.  We are an equal opportunity employer.
