We are looking for a Community Fundraiser for an incredible hospice to be responsible for a variety of Community Fundraising activities in Bedfordshire, with a focus on identifying and developing new Major Donor relationships to grow the high value supporter base.
This is a hybrid role in Bedfordshire with flexible home working options.
The Charity

The Role
Deliver and range of community fundraising activties, managing volunteers and stewarding supporters.
Research, identify and secure new major donors including individuals and foundations to grow the network of long-term donors and benefactors.
Assist with the cultivation and nurture new major donor relationships through identification and management of individuals in leadership positions. This will be achieved through effective networking, presentations, and events.
Effectively manage, acquire and develop supporter relationships across the community to meet objectives.
Maintain high quality data on the database, through timely data input.
The Candidate
Track record of achieving fundraising growth and delivering income.
Experience of the recruitment and management of fundraising volunteers.
Experience of forming, nurturing and maintaining relationships within local communities including individuals, groups and associations to deliver growth in income.
An excellent networker, capable of developing relationships with people from a wide variety of backgrounds.
