Could you be our new Community Fundraiser? 

 

Rennie Grove Peace Hospice Care is looking for a passionate, proactive and personable person to  join our team.individual who is excited by the prospect of engaging with our incredible supporters. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is excited by the prospect of engaging with our incredible supporters and wants keen to make a real difference to individuals and families living in Hertfordshire and Buckinghamshire. 

 

You will join our dynamic and enthusiastic fundraising team helping to build relationships within the community to maximise income and support. 

 

You will be building on a long-standing track record of established support within the community we serve. Every day is different – we’ll support you to develop, but at the same time encourage you to make decisions and grow. This is a chance to be proactive, create opportunities and be an ambassador for all we do.  

 

You need to be a people-person and enjoy building and maintaining strong relationships with a diverse range of people. We are passionate about supporter care at every level so you will need to be equally passionate about the impression you leave.  

 

You will have a keen eye for detail and outstanding communication skills. You will need excellent planning and organisation skills, be comfortable with coordinating small-medium sized events and be IT literate. 

 

As you will need to visit our different bases from time to time and visit supporters across Hertfordshire and Buckinghamshire, a car and driving licence are essential. Working hours will be 37.5 hours per week. 

 

As a newly merged charity with strong support across our region, your role will be vital in helping raise funds as we increase both reach and scope of services, offering a range of high-quality care for those facing life-limiting illness and support for their families.

At Rennie Grove Peace Hospice Care, we’re all about making every moment matter for our patients and families, and you can play your part in that. We will support people of all ages who are affected by a progressive life- limiting illness and those who care for them, to live as well as possible by providing choice and ease access  to a wide range of palliative care and bereavement services  across West Hertfordshire and Buckinghamshire.​​We provide care and support for adults and children diagnosed with cancer and other life-limiting illness, and their families, visiting day and night. It’s important work and, to make it all happen, we need talented and passionate people.
