Job description

We’re looking for an experienced individual to join our Community Fundraising team as National Community Fundraising Assistant. You will join us working 35 hours per week on a permanent basis and in return you will receive a competitive salary of up to £25,765.62per annum plus excellent benefits.

Please note, this is a hybrid working role where the successful candidate will need to be based one day a week from our National Cat Centre in Sussex, the remainder of the week can be home based. Due to the remote location of our National Cat Centre, the successful candidate should ideally be a car driver.

The National Community Fundraising Assistant is an exciting role for someone with an eye for detail, strong organisational skills and a passion for Community Fundraising. Sitting in the Community Fundraising and Events department within the Marketing and Income Generation Directorate the National Community Fundraising Team have ambitious income targets and a commitment to improve the experience of both our volunteers and our supporters. The National Community Fundraising Assistant plays a pivotal role in ensuring the day to day operations of the team run smoothly and effectively and that our volunteers and supporters are supported with compassion.

What we’re looking for:

  • Strong administration experience
  • Good organisaiton skills and attention to detail
  • A confident communicator with excellent communication skills
  • A competent level of IT literacy including Microsoft Packages
  • Experience in delivering supporter stewardship and/or customer care
