This is an exciting opportunity for someone who has a passion for bikes. The successful candidate will be mechanically adept with a range of skills to teach children in schools around Ayrshire basic Bike Maintenance.


You will contribute to ensuring a positive learning environment which encourages active participation and enables all learners to achieve their full potential, through the effective learning and teaching of students by assisting in the development, delivery and assessment of relevant resources.


You will be required to support the Team Leader - Community in the delivery of the community curriculum to the quality and standards required, through an integrated learning experience that supports the development and enhancement of the students, and establishing an ethos which is dedicated to the needs of the customer and delivers first class services to support the student journey and high-quality learning and teaching experiences.


You will be qualified to HND level or equivalent. Relevant experience in Bicycle Maintenance is essential with either a CYTEC level 2, City and Guilds/Cytech similar or equivalent qualification being desirable.


It is also desirable, but not essential, that you hold, or are working towards, a professional teaching qualification and have experience of teaching within the relevant discipline.
