RSR are currently recruiting on behalf of our client based in Hackney for a Community Navigator.
You will be responsible for the delivery of individual positive, outcome-focused support packages to customers; and ensuring that the support service promotes empowerment and independence to customers within their own homes.
This is a full time, temporary role initially until Aug 2024 and offers a rate of pay of £15.24.
External meeting and travel around E2 is required.
Main Duties:
- Provide housing-related support services to customers in a community setting, which may include their own homes.
- Support customers with day-to-day tenancy issues, payment of rent and liaising with landlords.
- Undertake referrals and assessments of potential customers, working with them to identify the most appropriate housing solutions for their needs.
- Provide practice support and information to customers when entering the service and throughout their involvement with the service.
- Maintain an accurate and timely record of all activities including the maintenance of an online support planning database.
Essential Requirements:
- Experience of working with vulnerable customer groups.
- Experience of delivering structured, person-centred support in either housing or social care.
- Demonstrable IT skills, including basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel), as well as the willingness the learn specific IT systems.
Role is subject to Enhanced DBS check.
