Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Community Phlebotomist to join our team, undertaking venepuncture as requested by other healthcare professionals.
The successful candidate will work as part of a multidisciplinary team and undertake venepuncture, under the supervision and guidance of qualified staff, to patients living in their own homes. They will also have administrative duties including phoning patients, data input using System One and sending information to patients and other healthcare professionals.
Main duties of the job
Our Primary Care Network Teams are multidisciplinary, combining community nursing and proactive care teams. They are the core element of a wider system responsible for coordinating care delivery to patients on the caseload. Care is organised around individuals' identified needs through collaborative working by service providers.
The post holder will need to be an experienced phlebotomist with excellent communication skills. In addition to this, they will need to hold a full UK driving licence and have access to a car.
