Job Information

This key role will focus on delivering proactive projects, community engagement and promotion and support of the Service and broader Safer Northumberland Community Safety Partnership (CSP), as well as providing an investigative and case management function.
You will work within our busy Reactive Community Safety Team, which provides effective solutions to anti-social behaviour and crime and disorder. To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate an understanding and have experience of community engagement, investigative practices, case management and partnership working. You should be self-motivated and be able to build effective relationships with a wide range of agencies and partners and have the ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and work autonomously. The Community Safety Team forms part of the broader Community & Environmental Health team dealing with a wide range of issues which affect our local communities. This team sits within the Public Protection Service.

· Although based at West Hartford Community Fire Station (West Hartford Business Park, NE23 3JP) agile working is strongly encouraged as are flexible working hours.
Experience of community engagement, promotional work, delivering presentations to a wide range of audiences, problem solving, and multi-agency work would be an advantage.
