We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Community Safety Officer to join our Neighbourhoods team on a full time, permanent basis.
We are looking for a dedicated professional to bring our values to life and ensure our customers receive outstanding services.
The role
As a Community Safety Officer, you will be responsible for taking a lead role in enforcement action (up to and including court attendance and eviction) for serious and complex anti-social behaviour, compliance and tenancy management cases.
You will work with victims, and those responsible for causing serious ASB, compliance or tenancy management issues across Staffordshire and Shropshire.
What skills and experience we are looking for:

• Good knowledge of the relevant ASB legislation and of tenancy enforcement
• Experience of preparing / presenting anti-social behaviour cases for legal action
• Experience of working in partnership to generate joined up solutions to problems
• The ability to work under pressure with minimum supervision
• A 'can do' proactive approach to problem solving
• Customer-focused, with the ability to communicate effectively and concisely, displaying good interpersonal skills in multiple modes (phone, face-to-face, emails and in writing) using customer friendly language.
• A valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes
