We are recruiting on behalf of our client who is a social housing provider based in Northallerton and they are currently seeking a Community Safety Officer to join their team on a Temporary basis. The role requires High-level ASB experience.
Below is a summary of the role.
- Investigating and managing serious ASB harassment, and domestic abuse cases, working with Police, local authorities and any other relevant agencies in order to gather information which will assist in agreeing and implementing a course of action resulting in a cessation of nuisance and negative behaviour
- Developing and implementing a prevention approach to minimise severity of ASB cases
- Taking appropriate action to tackle ASB breaches in tenancy agreements and other criminal behaviour
- Interviewing complainants, undertaking investigations and liaising with external legal advisers
- Following mediation procedures, acceptable behaviour contracts and injunctions
- Preparing cases for legal action, preparing witness statements, appearing and representing the client in court proceedings
- Ensuring all cases and logged ASB concerns are compliant with company procedures and policies, actively representing the clients company values and asserting company views
