Job description

We are looking for a creative, innovative and enthusiastic individual to lead on the delivery of training on our multiagency case management IT system. This brand new Part Time (22 hours) position of Community Safety Systems Trainer is an excellent opportunity to join a team that strives on improving the lives of victims and communities suffering crime and anti-social behaviour. Our multiagency case management system plays an integral part of this by providing a single secure platform to record and share information between key partners to ensure the most effective response and reduce the risk of harm.  

The team

The Community Safety Service contribute to work around a diverse range of Community Safety concerns including Domestic Abuse, Terrorism and Counter-Extremism, Fraud, Anti-Social Behaviour and Re-Offending.  Activity can range from prevention and early intervention to the protection of those at greatest risk of serious harm and homicide. We do this by working in partnership with multiple organisations.

The role

As part of expansion within the Community Safety Service we are looking to recruit to a new position of trainer to develop and maintain appropriate learning of our case management system across a range of organisations in Lincolnshire. We currently utilise the 'ECINS' system which provides a national and local online platform to share information between multiple agencies and can be used to support a wide range of business areas. The role will involve creating, adapting and delivering various training packages to a variety of participants, both in person and on-line via MS Teams.

About You

The successful candidate will have:

  • a passion for teaching 
  • have creative thinking and be able to engage their audience
  • be approachable and able to make people feel at ease
  • able to build strong working relationships with partner organisations 
  • Have an understanding of Community Safety and the benefits of partnership working
