Overview:
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Community Support Workers to join our team. As a Community Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in providing care and support to individuals . Responsibilities:
To deliver a range of services within the community
To work as part of a team within the Day – Care unit.
To work within the Community shop on the collection or deliver of donated items.
To transport and deliver meals to all our Meals on Wheels clients.
To work with the Community Care Team in the transfer of Service Users to and from the centre.
To operate the minibus lift.
To establish good working relationships with colleagues and Service Users.
To work as a committed member of the team towards the attainment of the Resource Centre Derry’s aims and objectives.
To observe strictly all Health & Safety regulations.
To undertake any other duties deemed necessary by Registered Care Manager.
Experience:
· Level 3 in Health & Social Care
· Full clean driving license
· 3 years practical experience within the Community Voluntary Sector and working knowledge within a social care setting.
· NISCC Registered.
