Company procurement

The job is construction based procurement and securing new business this may also include assisting the company to gain new accreditation's and offer new services, expanding our client base and gaining more business from existing clients.
There are various bodies where clients advertise new projects you will be required to frequently check these and where HMBS are bidding for works manage the dialogue with clients and subcontractors.
The role also requires updating of the company's website and social media pages, so a good understanding of these platforms will be required.
The job will be mainly office based however you will be required to visit clients as part of client base expansion, a construction knowledge will be beneficial as you will assist the team completing tenders part of which is producing tender submission documents. you will also assist the delivery team to procure materials and achieve best prices.
We do offer a design service and have architects who we currently work with you will be required to liaise with these and assist in the production of bill of quantities and nomination of preferred suppliers.
HMBS are members of various bodies and you will be required to ensure we maintain compliance and update documents submitting these to various client portals.
