Company Secretarial Consultant
Salary: Up to £55,000 + Bonus & Excellent Benefits
Location: London (hybrid working)
My client is a rapidly growing global organisation offering a range of services to the Professional Services sector globally. As part of their exciting growth plans an opportunity exists to join this business in a Company Secretarial Consultant capacity.
You will form part of a high calibre team responsible for delivering a range of corporate secretarial and governance, advising a portfolio of clients on compliance matters, including (but not restricted to) annual statutory requirements, routine company changes and share capital changes.
You will be corresponding directly with both clients and third parties, and will be expected to adhere to Ad Hoc requests and administrative matters (authorised signatory requests, board minute extracts, secretary certificates, auditor requests, etc.) and attending to any notarisation/apostille requirements.
Key Duties:
- Supporting a portfolio of circa 300 UK entities delivering an extensive range of corporate secretarial and governance services
- Excellent minute taking skills are essential
- Comfortable and confident to hold standalone meetings with clients
- Assisting with the administration for board meeting’s from start to finish, this will include; preparation of meeting agendas, preparation and distribution of meeting packs, attendance at board and shareholder meetings, preparation of relevant minutes, maintenance of minutes and records as well as other ad hoc secretarial duties as required
The Person:
- Ideally with 2+ years CoSec experience
- Comes from a smaller’ accountancy/finance/legal company and seeking a more dynamic environment where there are clear opportunities for career and professional development
- The appointed person must have experience of direct communications with clients
- Financial services experience would be beneficial, as successful candidate would be working closely with banks
- Educated to a minimum of A-Levels, however ideally degree educated in a finance or legal subject and embarking on ICSA or keen to do so
- Ideally CGI part or fully qualified (or other professional qualification if relevant experience can be demonstrated)
- Study support is also available to the appointed candidate to continue their professional development
The role is based from their London office, offering hybrid working with 3 days in the office and 2 days from home.
