Our clients include children and adults with brain injuries, spinal injuries and physical disabilities; providing a rewarding opportunity to learn and develop your skills whilst helping others.
The Role
You'll be working with a young man with complex health needs who requires 2:1 round-the-clock care in his own home. Our client suffered an acquired brain injury following a road traffic incident and requires clinical interventions throughout the day and night to keep him safe at home. He is living in a beautiful newly-adapted property on his own, supported by his care team 24/7.
You will be required to work as part of a team, committing to regular shifts on a rota basis. Full and part-time hours are available across the week, including weekends on a rota basis.
Requirements
What we'd like:
- Experience in working with people with complex health needs e.g. PEG / artificial feeding, moving and handling
- Car driver with access to your own vehicle - client will be living in a rural area with minimal access via public transport

Clinical Training
Whilst we expect a degree of experience in caring for individuals with complex health needs, full clinical training on the specific needs of our client will be provided for the right candidates. This includes a combination of e-learning and classroom-based training, followed by job-shadowing and "hands-on" training by a Lead Nurse.
