We are looking for Support Workers to care for individuals in your local area. You will need to have at least 6 months experience working in a Complex Care Support environment. Your role will include daily activities, cleaning and personal care, leisure and shopping trips and promoting personal independence.
Support Worker: The Role
• Assisting service users with their day to day lives.
• Assisting service users on activities and outings.
• Encouraging service users to remain independent and respecting their dignity always.
• Providing person centred care.
• Domestic duties.
• Following care plans.
Support Worker: The Job Requirements
· At least 6 months experience working in a supported living environment.
· Experience giving personal care to both female and male service users.
· Experience with people with Peg Tube
· Experience with Ceiling Hoist
· Knowledge and experience giving medication.
· Preferably drivers
· Valid training certificates.
· Enhanced DBS (preferably registered online).
