Job description

We're recruiting dedicated and compassionate Clinical Care Workers to join our Clinical Services Team to provide care to our clinical client in the Motherwell area on bank staff basis.

You will be supporting our Male client who has a brain injury following a car accident. He is unable to weight bear and therefore 2 staff are required during the day to support the transfer of the client between his bed and wheelchair with the aid of a hoist. This client is under palliative care and with your support he will be able to return home from the rehabilitation centre and enjoy time with his family both in the home and out and about. Some of the needs you will be supporting this client with include:

  • Tracheostomy Care
  • Suctioning if required
  • PEG feeding
  • Social Interaction
  • Personal care including washing and dressing
  • Supporting the client to spend time outside of the home on days out

Shift patterns include Days - 8am-8pm and overnight 8pm - 8am. Ad-hoc work is available on a bank staff basis for this care package, other hours are also available in our domiciliary care service which can provide regular and ongoing work.

We provide a comprehensive clinical training and induction programme, overseen by professional nurses, to ensure you have the skills and confidence to succeed in your role working as a Clinical Carer.

We are looking for people who have excellent people skills, are great communicators and can work effectively in a team as well as independently.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience is preferred but not essential, full training given
  • We have walker and driver positions available
  • You will be subject to a DBS check and references
