This role requires you to travel into the office 2 days a week to Swindon.

What you’ll be doing
You will be responsible for managing all non-standard litigation activity within C&R, managing a caseload of up to 50 defended mortgage possession claims and other complex cases across all legal jurisdictions, all brands and all products, and deliver to a consistently high standard
You will also have responsibility for the support and coaching of all Case Handlers in the Outsourced Litigation Support Team, being the first point of contact for complex queries, and provide ad-hoc technical expertise to all interfacing business areas as and when required.
You will need to be comfortable working in a faced paced back office environment but demonstrate confidence balancing service with commerciality, with high quality and consistent outcomes and decisions.
About you
As a minimum requirement you’ll:
- Have a proven track record of successfully managing problematic cases of a complex nature, ensuring costs and reputational risks are controlled
- Have knowledge and experience of the mortgage possession claim process or a legal background relevant to this area of law
- Have a positive and inspirational approach to investigating difficult situations and extensive track record of utilising analytical skills and research ability to assess data and identify root cause issue and corrective actions needed
- Have a highly professional business attitude with the ability to meet deadlines and develop creative and innovative solutions which improve our processes
- Have highly effective communications and influencing skills and a proven track record of working effectively with external 3rd party suppliers, Legal and senior stakeholders across the business
- Have extensive experience working in a fast-paced legal environment
