About the Service / Department Our service aims to provide holistic, trauma informed care and support to women and children, to re-build their lives and begin their recovery journey. This position covers our domestic abuse and Complex Needs refuge. We have 8 domestic abuse accommodation based services across Wandsworth & Richmond alongside a community based service. About the role You will hold a caseload of 5 women with Complex Needs, all who have fled domestic abuse alongside other support needs which can include mental health, substance misuse and street homelessness.You will provide emotional and practical support which includes safety planning, risk assessing, maximising income, budgeting, housing and Multi-agency working. You will work closely with service users with whom you will carry out 1:1 support sessions.You will explore service user's needs and refer to services to ensure t
hese needs are met.Carrying out safeguarding concerns to safeguarding leads, social services, and mental health.Oversee being a part of strategies meetings involving professionals and ensure case notes are update, assessments carried on and safety plans are reviewed.You will oversee housing maintenance regarding repairs and following health and safety guidelines. About you We are looking for a professional, empathetic, dedicated and resilient female who is passionate in ending violence towards women and girls. Eager to support vulnerable, marginalised women to re-build their lives and reach their full potential.
