Day to day responsibilities:
? Monitor and ensure compliance with all relevant local, national, and international regulations.
? Positively assist the company in finding solutions to non-compliance matters
? Regularly review and update the company's compliance policies and procedures.
? Coordinate and lead internal and external compliance audits, addressing any non-conformities.
? Act as the Data Controller, determining the purposes and means of processing personal data, ensuring that data processing activities are compliant with relevant data protection regulations.
? Identify areas for operational and procedural enhancement.
? Implement and oversee continuous improvement projects, ensuring they align with company objectives and industry best practices.
? Collaborate with various departments to drive efficiency and quality improvements.
? Prepare and present regular reports to senior management, highlighting performance metrics, audit results, improvement initiatives, and areas of concern.
? Maintain comprehensive documentation of all compliance and improvement activities.
? Engage with various departments to ensure understanding and adherence to compliance requirements and continuous improvement initiatives.
? Act as a point of contact for regulatory bodies and external auditors
Skills required:
? Strong oral and written communication skills.
? Proven experience in regulatory compliance, risk management, continuous improvement methodologies, and training program management.
? Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
? Ability to lead cross-functional teams and projects.
? Strong knowledge of industry regulations, legislative guidelines, and continuous improvement tools.
? Proficiency in digital tools and platforms for documentation and procedure management.
? Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage at senior and Board levels.
? Results-oriented with a focus on ensuring company-wide compliance and continuous enhancement.
