The Role
Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to work with a range of stakeholders and make a difference to the climate change crisis? Join our team as a Compliance Assistant and contribute to the future of fusion energy.
You will play a pivotal role in offering administration support to ensure compliance with current procurement regulations and will work in a collaborative and inclusive team to monitor the department’s and UKAEA’s compliance to procedures and processes in line with DESNZ requirements and Cabinet Office. You will maintain and update a range of databases and provide administration support across all areas of compliance and procurement, dealing with a variety of queries that arise.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Raising and processing new supplier and sundry requests
- Provide advice, guidance and support to a range of users across UKAEA
- Maintenance and management of queries received in the procurement email inbox and from the procurement helpdesk system
- Undertake compliance checks on the creation and amendments to vendors
- Liaison with a number of stakeholders to resolve any invoicing and PO discrepancies
- Running regular reports and submitting to relevant colleagues in a timely manner
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of compliance activities
Please note, you will be required to work on site on Culham Campus for 2 days a week minimum. We are also open to receiving applications who require part time working hours, but please specify expectations when applying.
