SalaryLocation: Remote (onsite for 1-2 days for conformity inspection once every 1-2 months)
Employment: Part-time 10-20 hours/ Per week.
Contract length: 12-months (possibility to extend)
Experince in Avionics
Due to the nature of this 12-monthcontract, my client can only consider candidates with EU or UK citizenship(UK ILR will indefinitely be consider)
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments of aircraft modifications, including new avionics systems.
- Collaborate with the responsible Design Engineer to align technical, operational, and legal aviation requirements.
- Evaluate technical solutions during the development process.
- Review and approve all necessary documents for modification approval, manufacturing, installation, and operation.
- Maintain approval as an EASA Part 21J Design Organisation in coordination with the Chief of Office of Airworthiness.
Qualifications:
- Technical degree or equivalent training in aerospace technology, aeronautical (systems) technology, or electrical engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience as a Design Engineer or Compliance Verification Engineer, specialising in analogue and digital circuit technology, and power electronics for aircraft electrical systems.
- Familiarity with aircraft certification and verification methods (EASA Part 21J, CS-25, FAR-25, FAA).
- Fluent in English (speaking and writing).
- Strong cross-disciplinary thinking, structured approach, and effective teamwork skills.
