Compliance Engineer

Jackson Hogg is recruiting for a Compliance Engineer for a global organisation operating out of Teesside.

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Compliance Engineer to join our team. The Compliance Engineer will play a crucial role in ensuring that our organisation adheres to industry regulations, standards, and internal policies. This position requires an understanding of relevant compliance frameworks, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with various teams to implement and maintain compliance measures.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure adherence to business QHSE polices, processes, procedures, and standards, demonstrating a positive and open safety and quality culture.
• For supporting the business to continue to generate revenue form the existing product-lines
• Work with the development team to manage the compliance and certification of new product-lines into the business.
• Lead compliance projects and delivery projects within the agreed schedule.
• Co-ordination tests with internal and external resource
• Work independently with minimum supervision.
• Communicate regularly to all business stakeholders.
• Prepare reports for senior leadership and ensure excellent communication to keep project managers updated.
• Good working knowledge of general product safety standards and hazardous area standards, including ATEX, IECEx, EMC, LVD etc.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering, Compliance, or a related field.
• Electronics industry or academic experience would be advantageous
• years of experience in a similar compliance role.
• In-depth knowledge of relevant industry regulations and standards.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
