Compliance Monitoring Officer (Insurance)

Compliance Monitoring Officer, Bristol. Up to £55,000 plus bonus & benefits. Hybrid working (3 days in the office)

• We have a fantastic opportunity due to continued significant growth for a Compliance Monitoring Officer to join a leading, large insurance group.
• This is a newly created monitoring team and offers a great opportunity for someone to play a key role in shaping the monitoring plan and future scope of the team.

The role

• Supporting the Senior Compliance Manager in the development of the annual Compliance Monitoring Assurance Plan.
• Planning and delivering Compliance Monitoring reviews in accordance with Compliance Monitoring methodology, practice and procedures.
• Develop a test programme designed to assess regulatory compliance & control design and operational effectiveness for each review.
• Undertake Monitoring Fieldwork using a range of compliance and control tests.
• Draft Monitoring Reports and present findings to senior management teams, effectively highlighting key risks and issues identified, along with potential impacts.

To apply

• You must have 2nd line monitoring experience gained within the insurance market. (Internal audit experience a distinct advantage).
• Ability to influence others and have excellent attention to detail.
• Strong and confident communicator.
