Our well established financial services client based in Northwich are currently looking for a Compliance Risk Officer to join their team on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual to gain knowledge of this specialist area. In addition, the job holder will need an understanding of the overall business activity and will support both the Compliance Team and the Deputy Head of Compliance to achieve the objectives.

What does the role entail?

As a Compliance Risk Officer, you will be providing support, advice and guidance on compliance framework, policies and procedures, which will facilitate the business in identifying, assessing and managing Compliance Risk within the business. You will also be making sure all compliance work is carried out to the required level of competence, regularly reviewing and keeping up to date with changes in regulatory, legislative and market practices that impact the business.

What skills will you have?

To become a Compliance Risk Officer, you should have some compliance experience within the financial services industry however fresh Graduates are also welcome to apply. You must have the ability to undertake a variety of analysis, strong report writing skills, ability to work in a multi-disciplined team across business units and some Microsoft Office skills.
