We have an exciting opportunity for a Composite Technician to join a leading name in Automotive, Motorsport and Formula 1 Technology.

We are looking for a versatile technician with strong skills in, comp-bond, fitting, assembly and trimming.

The role:

• Fit, bond, and assemble carbon components in accordance with engineering diagrams and assembly guidelines.
• Performing visual and structural repairs on composite elements.
• Construct jigs and fixtures for assembly purposes.
• Perform structural bonding of components following company specifications.

Key Skills required:

• Trimming: Cutting or shaping composite materials according to precise specifications outlined in engineering drawings or instructions.

• Fitting and Assembling: Ensuring the accurate fitting and assembly of composite components, using tools and techniques to achieve the desired form and function.

• Bonding and Joining: Employing bonding agents or methods to assemble composite parts or structures, ensuring they adhere properly and meet strength requirements.

• Quality Control: Inspecting finished components to verify they meet quality standards, including proper fit, finish, and structural integrity.

• Repair Work: Conducting repairs on damaged composite elements, employing appropriate techniques to restore functionality and appearance.

Candidate Profile

• Experience as a Composite Fitter, or Trimmer, ideally in a Motorsport, F1 or High Technology Automotive sector
• Flexibility on hours/shift patterns
• Experience following safety procedures and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment
