Composite Laminator

Laminators Required

Tods are looking to recruit laminators to commence work on as soon as possible, who have a keen eye for detail and quality.

The successful candidate will need to read and understand Manufacturing Instruction Sheets and complete Route Cards. You will be working as a part of a multi-skilled team to meet deadlines. Full training will be provided and you will learn the following key skills:

Responsibilities:

• Preparing moulds.
• Read and understand Instruction Sheets.
• Application of Gelcoat.
• Mixing resins to ratios (weight/volume)
• Perform a variety of laminating including Wet-lay, Prepreg and Vacuum Infusion.
• Identify laminating defects.
• Gelcoat repairs.
• Use of hand tools.

Tods is a growing business, based on Portland and it is great time to join our workforce. The role is full time, offering 38 hours per week with the opportunity to work overtime once trained. In return we offer 25 days holiday + bank holidays and a company pension scheme.

We offer a 4-day week, Monday to Thursday from 7am - 5pm.

Portland is based on Dorset’s beautiful Jurassic coast and is home to a huge variety of water-sports facilities and excellent sailing for all abilities.
