What you’ll do as Composite Laminator?
As a vital member of the team, your day-to-day will involve a spectrum of laminating techniques, ranging from wet-lay and infusion to vac-bagging and pre-preg. The ability to read and comprehend lay-up specifications is essential, ensuring clarity in drawings and accuracy in route card instructions. Your commitment to quality will shine through as you maintain the highest standards in every task, from utilising hand tools to handling a variety of materials, including CSM and cloths in both dry and pre-preg formats.
The role extends beyond the technical, requiring you to identify laminating defects and ensure parts meet ISO standards. 
What we’re looking for in an ideal Composite Laminator:

• Experience from industries where quality is paramount, such as Marine, Aerospace, Automotive, or similar. 
• Familiarity with pre-preg autoclave processes and materials such as carbon and glass
• Capability to move between composites and GRP if required
• Exceptional attention to detail, the ability to follow procedures, and strong communication skills are prerequisites. 
• Capability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and adapt to a fast-paced environment is crucial. 
• Motorsport/Automotive composite experience and the ability to read engineering drawings will be an advantage.
