Job Title: Composite Technician
Location: Barnsley
Salary: £21,000 - £22,000
XCL are recruiting for a family run injection moulding company based in Barnsley, who have over 60 years’ manufacturing experience within the industry. They’re currently looking for a fibreglass laminator to join their growing team, who would be involved heavily in the production process.
Job Responsibilities:

Mould preparation
*
Release of simple moulds
*
Production of tanks (between 6 – 100+ cubic metres) and silos
*
General labouring duties – inc. lifting, trimming etc.
*
Using handheld power tools e.g. sanders & grinders
*
Ensure correct use of PPE at all times
Job Requirements (essential):

Good communication skills
*
Good understanding of the quality process
*
Technical mind, with ability to learn new skills
Job Requirements (desirable):
*
Experience working with resins & fibreglass
*
Experience with lamination techniques
*
Experience with filament winding
*
Experience with chop spray application techniques
*
Good knowledge & understanding of GRP/Fibreglass laminating & associated processes
Hours:
*
Monday – Friday
*
40 hour work week (8 hour shifts)
