Job Title: Computer Science and Business Teacher

Salary: £160 - £240 per day

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and passionate Computer Science and Business Teacher with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) to join our thriving academic community in Nottingham. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in inspiring and educating our students in the ever-evolving fields of computer science and business.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Teaching:

    • Deliver engaging and innovative lessons in Computer Science and Business to students at various levels.
    • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages critical thinking and creativity.
    • Keep abreast of the latest developments in computer science and business to ensure curriculum relevance.
  2. Curriculum Development:

    • Contribute to the development and enhancement of the computer science and business curriculum.
    • Integrate real-world examples and case studies into lesson plans to provide practical insights to students.
  3. Assessment and Feedback:

    • Design and implement effective assessment strategies to evaluate student progress.
    • Provide timely and constructive feedback to students to support their academic growth.
  4. Extra-Curricular Activities:

    • Encourage and participate in extra-curricular activities related to computer science and business, fostering a holistic learning experience.
  5. Professional Development:

    • Engage in continuous professional development to stay current with advancements in technology, education, and business.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) is essential.
  • Proven experience in teaching Computer Science and Business at secondary or higher education levels.
  • Strong knowledge of programming languages, software development, and business principles.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to create a positive and motivating learning environment.
  • Proficiency in using educational technology tools.

Working Hours:

This position is initially full-time, with the possibility of part-time arrangements based on mutual agreement.

Salary:

The salary for this position is competitive, ranging from £160 to £240 per day, depending on qualifications and experience.
