Form of workWe at Horizon Teachers are currently working with an Outstanding' Secondary School that is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Computer Science Teacher to join the dynamic faculty in the vibrant borough of Slough. This temporary position is available immediately after Easter, extending until the end of the term, with the potential for extension into the new academic year for the right candidate.
The Secondary School provides a nurturing and stimulating learning environment where students are encouraged to explore their potential in the field of Computer Science. The Role:
- Deliver engaging and interactive Computer Science lessons to Key Stage 3 and 4 students.
- Plan and implement innovative teaching strategies to cater to diverse learning needs.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning and growth.
- Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and track academic performance.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum materials and enrichment activities.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialization in Computer Science or relevant field.
- Proven experience teaching Key Stage 3 and 4 students, with a strong understanding of the national curriculum.
- Passion for Computer Science education and staying abreast of latest developments in the field.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential.
