SalaryProspero Teaching is currently working alongside an Outstanding school who are seeking to appoint a committed and enthusiastic teacher to join their Computer Science department at this superbly equipped secondary school.
The school is an 11-19 mixed sex school with a six form of approximately 320 students based in West London, with good transport links. The school is recognised as being one of the top non-selective secondary schools in the country and their recent Ofsted Inspection (September 2022) has achieved 'outstanding' in every category. Inspectors witnessed the 'Everyday Excellence' at the school, and they were complimentary about all aspects of their provision. Inspectors noted that:
"Pupils thrive at this school. Leaders are ambitious for all pupils and they are determined that all pupils will be given the opportunities they need to succeed. Behavior in lessons and around the school is exemplary, and pupils show high levels of respect to each other, to staff, and to visitors. The work of the school is held in high regard by others, and leaders share their practice with other schools in the trust and in the diocese." (Ofsted)
The Catholic ethos is at the heart of all they do, and were also judged to be outstanding in every category in the most recent Diocesan Inspection (December 2018).
The position is a maternity cover to start in March 2024. It would be for the rest of the year (end of term in December 2024) and it would be part-time (0.85 - 4.5 days) - full time would also be considered
