Prospero Teaching are looking for a creative computing teacher to for a secondary school in St Helens. This role is a full-time position, starting Easter 2024. You will also be expected to teach key stage 3 and 4. The successful candidate will be able to provide exceptional support to students and demonstrate good behaviour and classroom assistant/management.
You must have experience working in a similar role within secondary schools to be considered.
CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS
- Location - St Helens
- Position - Computer Studies Teacher
- Start date - Easter 2024
- Duration - end of academic year
- Contract type - Full Time
- Minimum rate of pay - £120 per day
- Hours - 8:15AM - 4:00PM Monday to Friday
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Relevant teaching qualification
- Previous experience working in a school
- Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (essential, training can be provided)
- Up to date Prevent awareness training issued in the last 3 years (essential, training can be provided)
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
- Hold Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
- Provide two professional child related references
