Concierge Service Delivery Driver

Our client are an established Heathrow based Hi-Val freight forwarding agent who have a new exciting position for a Concierge Service Delivery Driver, the successful candidate will be dedicated customer-orientated Delivery Driver to join their team for a 'White Glove' style conciergeservice, to deliver high-end & time sensitive goods to clients to venues in and around London and across the UK. The role is Monday - Friday, working 8 hour shifts on a flexible 40 hour week (basic hours being 09:00-18:00, with optional overtime available). We provide full on the job training so, while 'white glove' style delivery experience is desirable, it is not essential.

The knowledge, skills and experience required for this role are:

Essential

• Hold a full UK driving licence, and a clean driving record.
• Flexibility to work various hours.
• Be physically capable of lifting and moving heavy items as needed during deliveries.
• Have a good knowledge of the English language, both verbal and written.
• Able to prioritise and organise own workload to tight deadline.
• Have sound IT knowledge and ability to use a smart phone (provided).
• Strong communication skills; the ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
• Be a team player as well as work well alongside members of staff across all departments.
• Smart/professional appearance.

Desirable

• Experience in a customer-facing role.
• Experience of providing 'white glove' style service.
• Experience of driving 3.5t vehicles.
• Knowledge of the local area and Central London.

Due to the nature of the role, there are a number of compulsory checks that must be carried out:

1. criminal record check - basic disclosure, carried out by the Disclosure & Barring Service.
2. A full 5 year reference history, with any gaps in employment scrutinised and accounted for.
3. A driving licence check (a check code to be brought to interview).

£35k DOE basic plus overtime
