Join our client as a Conference and Events Host or Hostess for a short-term opportunity at a prestigious professional learning and development event in the vibrant city of Glasgow.

 

Your rate of pay and hours of work

This is a temporary two-day assignment scheduled on Tuesday the 12th and Wednesday the 13th of October, you will receive an hourly rate of £10.42 per hour. Your working hours for these days will be from 8:00 AM to 10:30 AM. Additionally, our client provides the convenience of free on-site parking during your assignment.

 

Responsibilities in your new role

As the Conference and Events Host or Hostess, your primary responsibilities encompass creating a welcoming atmosphere by warmly greeting all venue attendees. You will efficiently manage the check-in process at the front desk, ensuring a smooth arrival experience. Furthermore, your role includes the distribution of event materials and badges to delegates, ensuring they are well-informed about event logistics and other essential details before its commencement.

It is also vital for you to become well-acquainted with the venue's various amenities, including Wi-Fi access codes, parking instructions, and emergency exit routes. Additionally, you will guide attendees to their respective meeting rooms and provide them with pertinent venue guidelines and regulations to enhance their event experience.

 

Your personality, experience and qualifications

Experience in event or conference assistance would be a valuable asset for this position, as would the capability to deliver top-tier hospitality to our clients' distinguished guests.
