Job description

Become a Conference and Events Host or Hostess with our esteemed client, offering a temporary position at a renowned professional learning and development event set in the lively city of Glasgow.

 

Your rate of pay and hours of work

This comprises a brief two-day task set for Tuesday, March 12th, and Wednesday, March 13th. You will be compensated at an hourly rate of £10.42, and your work hours for these dates will span from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM. Furthermore, our client offers the added perk of complimentary on-site parking throughout your assignment.

 

Responsibilities in your new role

In your capacity as the Conference and Events Host or Hostess, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless execution of the event. Your primary duties involve establishing effective communication with the speakers and hosts and providing invaluable assistance with technical aspects such as managing PowerPoint presentations and other IT-related tasks.

Additionally, you will be the welcoming face of our event, extending a warm greeting to all attendees and assisting them in navigating the event's facilities and services. Your expertise will be crucial in signposting attendees to various key areas on-site, ensuring they have a smooth and enjoyable experience throughout the event. It is also vital for you to become well-acquainted with the venue's various amenities, including Wi-Fi access codes, parking instructions, and emergency exit routes.

 

Your personality, experience and qualifications
