SalaryWe are urgently seeking a Conference and Events Organiser temp, to work at a large public sector organisation near to Kings Cross.
The role is office based. 35 hours per week, working 9am to 5pm. The rate of pay is £24.72 per hour. (Equivalent to £45 000 annually).
The role is very admin based but also hands on with the events. There will be some travel and the occasional overnight stay.
With the postholder helping to organise, administer and manage numerous National conferences and Events. Throughout the UK and very often in London.
It is essential that the postholder has solid 'Health and Safety’ experience. With a focus on understanding disabilities and accessibility issues for attendees. The organisation is a champion of inclusion.
You will be responsible for making their resources more accessible, including running an accessibility checker, producing subtitles and other formats, arranging for British Sign Language and advising teams on accessibility considerations.
Conference and event’s must be accessible to attendees who have a disability. This role will help lead that commitment.
