Conference Porter

As a Conference Porter at Sodexo in Kingston Upon Thames - KT2 7PD, You'll will be responsible for our corporate sites continuous improvement and operational excellence. You have a keen eye for detail, and your organisational skills will ensure everything runs like clockwork.  Join Sodexo and be part of something greater.   What you’ll do:  

Assisting the conference and events departments with setting up meetings. 
Support the catering department with front of house service and replenishing snack and food areas.
Assisting the dish washing area
Assist with deliveries and ensuring all paper work is correct and all items  are stored correctly.
Assist maintenance with small repairs and other related tasks. 
Assist housekeeping department / laundry department
Ensure offices, meeting rooms and other areas of the building are clean and tidy.
Delivering a high level of customer service, to include dealing with guests and clients
Support with waste management.
Reporting any incidents to include fire, theft and damage following the correct process.
Attending training courses as per the business needs.

What you bring:  

Previous experience within a similar role would be beneficial, however full training will be given
To be a team player 
You'll bring 5 star customer service skills
Good verbal and written communication skills
A focused and flexible approach
