There is now a great opportunity to join a well-established engineering company that designs, develops, and manufactures a range of bespoke products within the automotive industry sector as a Configuration Control Engineer. As a Configuration Control Engineer your role will focus on Configuration Control and managing the bill of materials for manufacturing processes.
Configuration Control Engineer Responsibilities;
- Create, maintain and configure the Bill of Materials process in an ERP system
- Ensure that all documents and design changes are reflected in the relevant BOMs
- Control items and master items added to the ERP system
- Provide technical support to the wider teams
- Complete regular desk top audits
Configuration Control Engineer Requirements;
- Must be experienced using an ERP system
- Educated to HNC level or higher in an engineering related discipline
- Knowledge of interpreting engineering drawings would be advantageous
- Experienced working to manufacturing standards would be beneficial
- Excellent communication skills are essential
- Must be a team player
