Techniche are supporting a leading automotive manufacturer to appoint Connected Car Data Analyst for their site in Cranfield. The role will involve the running of data visualization tools to report and present data for the team. They use Tableau but will consider anyone that has worked with Data or BI software such as Power BI, Tableau or similar. This role will also involve analysing data, identifying trends, reporting and presenting in a user friendly and relevant way.
Pay Rate: up to £22.67/hour PAYE+ holiday and pension pay
Duration: 12 months rolling contract
Requirements: over 3 years of data analytics experience
Role Responsibilities:
- Investigate cloud data and produce visualisation reports.
- Create weekly/monthly/annual management reports with necessary information suitable for the recipients.
- Utilise analytical skills and tools to understand the anomalies or trends of the vehicle data and find the root cause of the problem.
- Use advanced MS Excel techniques including Power Query, Power Pivot and Power Automation to manipulate the cloud data and produce reports.
- Automate and streamline the reports where possible to speed the report generation tasks.
- Proficient in MySQL, Tableau, Statistics, and eager to learn and play a key role in pushing them towards good performance standards
- Develop user guides for the reports and provide training sessions to the team.
- Extract specific data from the cloud and identify the requested information for other team members.
- Raise incident tickets in the incident management system and track them through to closure.
Background And Experience:
- Experience of MS Azure OMS & Kusto Query is an advantage but not essential
- Experience of Power tools like Power Query, Power Pivot, Power Automation, Power apps etc.
- Data visualisation tools like Tableau, Power BI
- Be able to demonstrate and have practical experience in problem solving tools and techniques
- Have good written and verbal communication skills.
- Competent with PC applications including Microsoft excel and Microsoft presentation.
- Have ability to prioritise and multitask between multiple projects simultaneously
- Be self-motivating and self-managing, Pro-active, energetic, and flexible regarding working practice and working hours.
