SalaryIf you have Connected Car Engineer experience and you're seeking a new role in Cranfield, we want to hear from you. Jonathan Lee Recruitment is helping a collaborative company recruit a Connected Car Engineer for a 12-month contract, and the role comes with a contract rate of £30.78 per hour.
As a Connected Car Engineer, you will investigate market issues related to the connected service and provide appropriate customer solutions. You will also utilise analytical tools to understand the anomalies or trends and find the root cause of the problem, sometimes using SQL queries. You'll also use advanced MS Excel techniques, including Power Query, Power Pivot and Power Automation, to manipulate the cloud data and produce reports.
In your first few weeks in this Connected Car Engineer role, you can expect to:
- Investigate market issues related to the connected service and provide appropriate solutions to the customers
- Raise incident tickets in the incident management system and track them through to closure
- Cross-functional working with project quality, management and engineering teams to ensure early response & transparency to concerns

- Relevant experience in automotive electrical and electronic development relating to vehicle body electronics, navigation or telematics systems e.g In aerospace, telecoms or similar
- Knowledge of the electrical architecture of modern vehicle electronics and experience in fault-finding
