Conservation Education Team Leader role at Blair Drummond Safari and Adventure ParkResponsible for delivering all aspects of Conservation EducationFull-time, permanent position
Job seniority: mid-to-senior level
Responsibilities
• Create and deliver Conservation Education Strategy• Promote Conservation Education both within and outside the park• Lead a team of Conservation Education Officers• Deliver educational programs and experiences to various audiences• Research and source new education resources• Respond to visitor questions and queries• Maintain educational areas of the park• Evaluate and evidence education and conservation activities• Recruit, train, and manage staff• Contribute to the ongoing strategic refreshment of the park
Requirements
• Excellent knowledge of Conservation Education• Self-motivated and capable of independent work• Experience in leading and managing a team• Experience in creating actionable strategy plans• Confident presenter with demonstrable engagement skills• Experience in delivering school outreach programs• Experience in presenting at conferences and networking in the industry• Full driving license• Experience working with safari park animals
