Are you highly motivated, physically fit and have high standards of workmanship? Enjoy working in a team but have the ability to work independently? Have a passion for countryside management or a qualification in it? Willing to work outdoors on a foul winters day, and cope with the heat in mid summer? Have a professional approach that will foster the excellent relationship we have with our many long-standing clients? If the answer is yes, then you could have the opportunity to undertake habitat management in some stunning locations and create habitats that will shape our countryside.
ELM is a continually expanding company working in the field of countryside management and wildlife protection. Working independently or as part of a team, you will be carrying out tasks including scrub clearance, pond management, woodland management, access improvements, grassland management and installation of wildlife fencing. Most our work is either on designated sites or dealing with protected species, so you will be expected to maintain accurate records of your work activity. This is a very practical/physical role, not to be mistaken for a junior ecologist role.
Further details, including application form and specifications can be found on the Careers page of the company website at www.elm.uk.net. Submission of applications in electronic format is acceptable. Only successful applicants will be notified.
