Job Description: We are currently seeking reliable and hardworking Construction Labourers to join our client’s team in Sunderland. As a Construction Labourer, you will play a vital role in supporting the smooth operation of construction sites, ensuring a safe and productive working environment for all team members.
Responsibilities:
- Assisting with the loading and unloading of construction materials and equipment
- Performing general site cleanup and debris removal to maintain a safe and orderly workspace.
- Assisting skilled tradespeople and contractors as needed
- Operating basic hand and power tools under supervision
- Adhering to all health and safety regulations, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Communicating effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and accurately.
Requirements:
- Valid CSCS card (Construction Skills Certification Scheme)
- Manual Handling Certificate
- Physically fit and capable of lifting and carrying heavy objects.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
- Ability to follow instructions and work well as part of a team.
- Excellent timekeeping and reliability
Salary and Benefits:
- Pay rate: £12.50 per hour.
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30 am to 5:30 pm (with overtime available)
