I am currently recruiting for an Interim Construction Programme Manager to work on behalf of an NHS Trust in Bradford.
This is a crucial role within the Capital Delivery team. You will operate as if directly employed by the Trust.
The primary responsibility is to oversee the delivery of capital project schemes on behalf of the Trust. This involves end-to-end management, adhering to approved business cases.
As a Programme Manager you will they bring high-quality project and program management skills to the table. The focus is on efficiently delivering complex projects within live operational environments. You’ll ensure that schemes are well-established, properly briefed, designed, developed, and delivered while adhering to strict budgetary and program constraints.
Key responsibilities include:
- Identifying and taking ownership of stakeholder engagement for allocated schemes.
- Proactively engage with both internal and external stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Additionally, assist in business case development, investment appraisals, and procurement strategies.
- The manager also leads and motivates project teams, communicating effectively within senior forums on behalf of the Estates & Facilities Directorate.
- Furthermore, maintain best practices, adheres to protocols, and provides professional advice consistent with industry standards.
- Actively engage with third-party stakeholders, including adjacent landowners, statutory bodies, and local press organisations, fostering a culture of mutual trust and cooperation.
This role plays a critical part in ensuring successful project delivery while upholding Trust policies and industry best practices.
The hours of work are full time and an attractive hourly rate starting at £26.06 (PAYE) or £32.58 (Umbrella) is on offer.
