Thatcher Associates has been retained by a construction company that wants to appoint an additional Site Manager to oversee Healthcare projects across the UK.
The Company
Our client is at the forefront of MMC. From their West Country offices, they design, manufacture, construct and maintain modular healthcare facilities. Typical projects include operating theatres, high dependency wards and laboratories. Clients include the NHS, private healthcare providers and pharmaceutical companies. Projects range in value from £5M to £30M.
The Role
As Construction Site Manager you would be working in a small site based team and reporting to an off site Project Manager. Responsibilities would include:
- Coordination and supervision of subcontractors
- Quality Control
- Health & Safety
- Monitoring progress on site and short term planning
- Accurate record keeping; daily labour returns, deliveries, visitors, site diary etc.
*You will, in all likelihood need to lodge away from home. Sites are generally located across the Midlands and Southern UK*
About You
We are looking for an ambitious and passionate Site Manager who has experience of working in a collaborative environment. You'll need to be technically competent and able to use your communication and influencing skills to drive progress, champion health & safety and quality control whilst engaging professionally with clients and inhouse design teams.
