Effective communication with client, contractor and sub-contractors, consultants, management of client and project stake holders is required.
The role will direct the construction teams, provide internal and external coordination and collaboration.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering the project from pre-contract to construction and handover stages.
- Directing the contractors on their roles and responsibilities with regard to health and safety procedures and comply with safety sustainability policy and procedures.
- Overseeing and directing construction projects from conception to completion.
- Reviewing the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimating costs.
- Overseeing all onsite and offsite constructions to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations.
- Coordinating and directing construction workers and subcontractors.
- Reviewing the work progress on daily basis.
- Preparing internal and external reports pertaining to job status.
- Planning ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones.
- Evaluating, managing and mitigating risks.
- Ensuring quality construction standards and using of proper construction techniques.
- Ensuring that all work is executed as per the approved drawings and in line with drawing/amendments issued from time to time.
- Planning and directing site activities to mitigate delays and manage multiple schedules.
- Reviewing and validating as built drawings with respect to works executed submitted by contractors on site.
About you
You have a degree qualifications or BTEC / HNC of relevant trade background qualifications i.e. NVQ, City Guilds along with a SMSTS, CSCS card. You are digitally savvy, can build lasting client relationships and lead strong, motivated teams.
